Signing of the partnership with Macif

This Thursday, May 22, on the occasion of World Biodiversity Day, Macif and the Marais Poitevin Regional Natural Park formalized their partnership within the framework of the European LIFE Maraisilience project, at Macif's premises in Niort (79), symbolizing a shared commitment aimed at better understanding the challenges and vulnerabilities of the Marais Poitevin while strengthening its resilience in the face of climate change.

Strong support for the project

The European LIFE Maraisilience project is a €3 million action program, 60% of which is funded by the European Union. This budget is supplemented by other public and private funding, particularly thanks to the involvement of the insurance and mutual insurance sector located locally around the Marais Poitevin, allowing the project to bring its actions to fruition!

“Thank you to Macif for welcoming the Ramsar certification of the Marais Poitevin Regional Natural Park as a wetland a few months ago and for strengthening our relationship today by being one of the first mutual insurers to commit to this LIFE Maraisilience project.”
Pascal Duforestel, President of the Marais Poitevin Regional Natural Park

"Macif is proud to join the LIFE Maraisilience project. As a mutualist player at the heart of major transitions, this partnership illustrates our attachment to our native lands and reaffirms our determination to respond to current and future ecological and societal challenges for society."
Jean-Philippe Dogneton, Managing Director of Macif
