The LIFE Maraisilience project
The LIFE Maraisilience "Climate Governance and Information" is an action program funded 60% by the European Commission and 40% by the regional insurance and mutual insurance group, the EDF Group Foundation, the two regions of Pays de la Loire and Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and ADEME. It aims to anticipate adaptation to climate change in the Marais Poitevin.
This project is undertaken collectively by 9 beneficiary structures: the Marais Poitevin Regional Natural Park (coordinating beneficiary), six public inter-municipal cooperation establishments (EPCI), a university and a joint union responsible for the management of aquatic environments and flood prevention.
