Launch of the LIFE Maraisilience project
Top start for 4 years
The official launch of the LIFE Maraisilience project took place on Tuesday, December 17 in Ferrières, at the premises of the Aunis Atlantique Community of Communes and branch of the Marais Poitevin Regional Natural Park.
In the presence of the project's co-beneficiaries and funders, a charter of commitment was signed to mark the start of four years of collective action to adapt the Marais Poitevin to climate change.
Throughout the 4 years of the project, the partners will carry out actions with the aim of reducing the climate vulnerability of the territory, around 3 main axes:
- better knowledge of the climate in the Marais Poitevin
- a mobilization of all stakeholders (residents, professionals, elected officials)
- the creation of an action plan for adaptation
