Workshops on scripting possible futures

"Experiencing our territory in 2050"

Between October 2025 and January 2026, 16 workshops were organised to collectively imagine how our territory could evolve by 2050.

A collective, multi-stakeholder approach based on imagination.

The future scenario workshops were designed as a space for collective reflection, allowing for the exchange of viewpoints and the projection of desirable futures, taking into account climate projections.

These workshops addressed several key themes of the territory such as: agriculture, housing, leisure, economy, water…

Depending of issues These workshops, chosen by the communities that hosted them, brought together: residents, elected officials, professionals from various sectors, institutional and associative actors.

La Rochelle Agglomeration Community

Objectives

  • To develop scenarios for desirable futures, which will form a basis for future actions of the project

Schedule: 3 additional sessions

The workshops were designed and facilitated by La Traverse, which supports territories in their ecological and social transition.

The work was organized around 3 three-hour workshops*, designed as a progressive course:

Session 1 – Shared diagnosis and initial projection to 2050
